Kesari 2, the highly anticipated action-packed sequel starring Akshay Kumar, has proven to be a big hit at the box office. On its 9th day in theaters, the film saw an incredible rise in earnings, making Rs 57 crore. This surge in box office collections on its second weekend is largely attributed to the “Buy One Get One Free” (BOGO) offer introduced on Friday, which significantly boosted its visibility and led to positive word-of-mouth.

The film’s weekend earnings have exceeded expectations. According to Sacnilk, Kesari 2’s box office collections jumped by nearly 73% on Saturday, with earnings reaching Rs 7 crore on its 9th day. This remarkable boost signifies that the film is maintaining its strong hold at the box office despite a typical drop after the first weekend. Sacnilk forecasts that Kesari 2 will likely collect around Rs 66 crore by the end of its second Sunday.

Notably, the theater occupancy for Kesari 2 was strong throughout the day on Saturday, averaging 25.22%. The morning shows saw a modest 11.24% occupancy, which surged to 37.17% during the night shows, indicating that more viewers are catching the film as word-of-mouth spreads.

Internationally, Kesari 2 has performed well, grossing Rs 83.2 crore worldwide, with Rs 23.5 crore from overseas markets. In India, the film has already made Rs 59.7 crore.
