Google’s next smartwatch is already making waves. While the Pixel Watch 4 isn’t set to launch until later in 2025, fresh leaks are giving fans a solid first look—and it’s shaping up to be more evolution than revolution.
Design: Familiar Looks With Subtle Tweaks
Reliable leaker @OnLeaks has shared high-res 5K renders and a 360-degree video of the Pixel Watch 4, showcasing a design that closely mirrors the Pixel Watch 3. The wearable sticks to Google’s signature circular style but now features slightly slimmer bezels for a sleeker appearance.
The renders reveal a matte black finish and the return of the physical crown. Notably, the Watch 4 appears to ditch the magnetic charging connectors in favor of wireless charging—an upgrade many users have been waiting for.
Specs and Size: Thicker Body, Possibly Bigger Battery
One of the more noticeable changes? The thickness. The Pixel Watch 4 reportedly comes in at 14.3mm, up from the 12.3mm profile of its predecessor. That added bulk may house a larger battery, addressing concerns about all-day battery life from earlier models.
Like the Pixel Watch 3, the new model is expected to be available in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. Both versions will reportedly feature two side buttons flanking the speaker, maintaining Google’s streamlined layout.
Launch Timing and Pricing Expectations
Google hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, but based on past patterns, the Pixel Watch 4 will likely debut alongside the Pixel 10 series later this year. For reference, the Pixel Watch 3 launched at Rs. 39,900 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model, while the 45mm variant went for Rs. 43,900 in India.
Battery specs from the last gen included a 307mAh unit for the 41mm model and a 420mAh battery for the 45mm version—numbers that could increase with the new design.
With slimmed bezels, a chunkier frame, and potential wireless charging, the Pixel Watch 4 looks like a thoughtful refinement of Google’s smartwatch game—not a dramatic redesign, but a solid step forward.
