OnePlus has officially launched its latest compact flagship—the OnePlus 13T—in China, but fans in the U.S. and Europe will be left out. Despite rising interest, the brand has made a surprising decision about the phone’s availability.
Limited Market Availability Raises Eyebrows
The OnePlus 13T debuted last week in China, drawing attention with its flagship-grade specs packed into a smaller frame. However, OnePlus has confirmed that this model will not be released in North America or Europe. The Verge reported the news, quoting OnePlus Europe’s CMO, Celina Shi, who stated, “Currently, we have no plans to launch the OnePlus 13s in Europe.”
This announcement comes as a disappointment for users in the U.S., Canada, and European markets who were hoping for a compact alternative in the premium Android space. Instead, OnePlus seems to be focusing on growth regions like India, where the 13T is being rebranded as the “OnePlus 13s.”
While the rebranding initially sparked speculation about a wider rollout, OnePlus has made it clear that the model is tailored for select markets only. This cautious strategy aligns with the company’s recent moves—such as halting development of a OnePlus Open 2 foldable and deciding not to launch the OnePlus Watch 3 in India.

Despite its compact design, the OnePlus 13T doesn’t hold back on features. Priced at CNY 3,399 (approx. ₹39,000), the base variant offers 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone sports a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2400-nit peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support.
Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with up to 16GB RAM and a whopping 1TB internal storage option. Camera-wise, the 13T includes a dual 50MP setup featuring a main sensor and a telephoto lens, promising strong imaging performance for its size class.
Additional highlights include Android 15-based ColorOS, an iPhone-style “Quick Key” action button, and a generous 6,260mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. These features make it one of the most powerful compact smartphones in the market today—even though many global fans won’t get to experience it firsthand.
