MBOSE SSLC 2025 Results Declared
The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has officially announced the Class 10 SSLC results for 2025. Students can now check their scores on the board’s websites—mbose.in, mboseresults.in, and megresults.nic.in.
This year’s results reflect a remarkable academic showing, with a statewide pass percentage of 87.10%, a sharp rise from 2024’s 55.80%. Out of 64,396 registered students, 63,682 appeared and 55,473 passed. It’s been a solid leap forward for education standards in Meghalaya.
Two Students Top the Charts
In a standout performance, Leisha Agarwal from St. Margaret’s HSS, Shillong, and Avila Kathrene P Lyngdoh from North Liberty HSS, Jowai, jointly claimed the top spot with 582 marks. Just four marks behind, Evanshan Nongrum of Sacred Heart Boys’ HSS, Shillong, and Pori Panday from Jawaharlal Nehru HSS, Phulbari, shared the second rank with 578 marks.
The third rank went to three students scoring 576 marks each: Anushmita Choudhury (St. Mary’s HSS, Shillong), Sourav Pandey (Alpha English HSS, Nongpoh), and Eulogemene Rilin L Suting (K.J.P. Synod Mihngi HSS, Jowai).
Category-Wise Performance
In the REGULAR-1 stream, 29,862 students appeared, and 28,331 cleared the exam—24,726 in all six subjects and 3,605 in five. This translates to a 94.87% pass rate, with male students slightly ahead at 95.32% versus 94.55% for females.
Meanwhile, the REGULAR-2 category saw 15,912 students appear, with 13,683 passing. Here too, girls edged out boys with an 86.64% pass rate compared to 85.04% for their male peers.
The numbers paint a positive picture for the state’s education landscape, showing not just academic excellence at the top, but a widespread improvement in overall student outcomes.
