South superstar Allu Arjun is officially collaborating with blockbuster director Atlee for a new mega-budget film, tentatively titled A6. The film is set to be made on a jaw-dropping budget of Rs 800 crore, making it India’s second most expensive movie ever—only behind SS Rajamouli’s upcoming SSMB29 starring Mahesh Babu.

Allu Arjun’s Birthday Surprise & Sun Pictures’ Big Reveal

The buzz began when Allu Arjun and Atlee were spotted together in Mumbai, fueling speculation of a project. That speculation turned into confirmation, timed perfectly with Allu Arjun’s birthday. Production house Sun Pictures teased the announcement on social media with a cryptic post: “Where Mass meets Magic Magnum Opus update Tomorrow at 11 AM.”

The film is slated to start shooting in August 2025. Until then, fans can look forward to updates as the team builds hype around what promises to be a pan-Indian cinematic event.

Massive Paychecks & VFX-Powered Vision

According to insider reports, Allu Arjun is earning around Rs 175 crore for the film, along with a 15% profit share. Atlee, fresh off his blockbuster Jawan, will reportedly receive a Rs 100 crore paycheck, signaling just how big this project is shaping up to be.

The Rs 800 crore budget includes Rs 200 crore for production and an ambitious Rs 250 crore allocated for visual effects. The goal? To craft a visual spectacle with global appeal, blending Atlee’s flair for massy storytelling with Arjun’s superstar presence.

What’s Next for Allu Arjun?

After wrapping A6, Allu Arjun is also set to reunite with director Trivikram for another high-profile film, expected to begin in late 2026. But for now, all eyes are on A6—an epic coming together of South cinema’s biggest names and budgets.
