IBPS Extends Application Deadline for PO and SO Recruitment 2023
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced that the application deadline for Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) positions has been extended to August 28. Previously, the last date to register was August 21, but now applicants have additional time to complete their applications. Interested candidates can register on the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
The official notice states, “It has been decided to extend the period of online registration of applications.” It further adds, “All other terms & conditions as mentioned in the Detailed Notifications dated 01.08.2023 remain unchanged.”
The recruitment drive aims to fill 3049 vacancies for PO positions and 1402 vacancies for SO positions in IBPS. Candidates selected for the PO position can expect a salary range of Rs 52,000 to Rs 55,000, while those selected for the SO position will receive a salary between Rs 38,000 to Rs 39,000.

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed graduation are eligible to apply for PO and SO posts. Those who have completed post-graduation can also apply.
Age Limit: Candidates between the ages of 20 to 30 years can apply for the positions at IBPS.

- Register by providing the required details and proceed to log in using the generated credentials.

- After verifying all the details, submit the application and save a copy for future reference.
IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The selection process for IBPS PO and SO positions involves three stages – prelims, mains, and interviews.
The IBPS PO prelims admit card will be released on September 23, and the exam is scheduled to be held on September 23, 30, and October 1. The admit card for the IBPS PO main exam will be available from October 23, and the main exam will be conducted on November 5.
For the IBPS SO recruitment, the preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 30 and 31. The main exam will take place on January 28.
