There has been speculation about whether Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Recently, officials from the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, in conjunction with local Congress leaders, met with the chief priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi. During this meeting, the possibility of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the Ram temple was discussed. Office-bearers of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, along with some local Congress leaders, held a meeting with Acharya Satyendra Das at his ashram at Ramghat. This meeting took place approximately a week ago and was a significant development in the context of Rahul Gandhi’s potential visit to the Ram Temple.

Acharya Satyendra Das’s Statement

Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi, commented on the matter, saying that everyone has the right to visit the Ram temple and seek blessings. He expressed a welcoming attitude towards Rahul Gandhi’s possible visit but mentioned that the local Congress members have not yet confirmed the date of his visit. Acharya Satyendra Das shared his thoughts with the media, emphasizing the inclusive nature of the Ram temple.

Progress on Ram Temple Construction

As of now, the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is progressing rapidly. The preparations for the temple’s consecration ceremony, scheduled between January 21 and 23, are underway on a grand scale. Various organizations, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, recently held a meeting to outline the detailed plan for the consecration ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend this historic event.

Yogi Adityanath’s Commitment to the Project

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is a grand and memorable occasion. He is actively overseeing the temple’s development. The UP government has already inaugurated one of the Ram Paths, with plans for three more to facilitate the pilgrimage of devotees to the temple. The dedication of key political leaders and organizations to this project underscores its significance in Indian politics and culture.
