Turns out Will Smith’s got some serious Bhangra moves—and who better to bring them out than Diljit Dosanjh?
The Indian singer-actor posted a clip to Instagram that’s already lighting up timelines. In the video, Will Smith and Diljit are seen sharing laughs, exchanging smiles, and then hitting the dance floor (well, kind of) to Diljit’s track Case. And yes, Will is fully vibing to the Punjabi beats.
It kicks off with Smith proudly holding up a picture of Diljit on his phone. Seconds later, the two are dancing, smiling ear to ear, and fully in the moment. The clip ends with a big hug and some loud laughs. Diljit, always keeping it desi, wore a white kurta-pyjama and a bright red turban. Will kept it cool in a relaxed blue co-ord set.
“Panjabi aa gaye oye 😎 With one and only living legend @willsmith 👑 🇮🇳 X 🇺🇸,” Diljit captioned the post. “It’s inspiring to watch King Will Smith doing Bhangra and enjoying Panjabi dhol beat.”
This collab didn’t just come out of nowhere. Back in February, Will dropped a fiery comment—literally—on one of Diljit’s posts promoting his track Tension. Diljit replied calling him “BIG BROTHER 💪.” And it goes deeper: Will’s been following Diljit on Instagram since August 2024.
Fans are loving this East-meets-West energy, and honestly, it’s refreshing to see Will so effortlessly celebrate Punjabi music and culture. It’s not just a cameo—it’s a genuine, feel-good moment.
Meanwhile, Diljit is busier than ever. After wrapping up his successful Dil-Luminati tour, he’s getting ready for the release of Punjab 95, a film inspired by the life of Sikh activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. He’s also set to appear in Border 2 alongside Ahan Shetty, Sunny Deol, and Varun Dhawan.
With global hits like Vibe, Lover, Water, and now viral celeb dance-offs, Diljit isn’t just crossing borders—he’s breaking them down.
