The wait is over for thousands of Tamil Nadu students. The Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has officially declared the TN Class 12 Result 2025 today, May 8. Students can now check their marks online at the official TNDGE website.

Outstanding Pass Percentage and Gender Performance Gap

This year’s Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) results show an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.03%. In a continuing trend, female students outperformed male students, with girls achieving a 96.70% pass rate compared to 93.16% for boys.

Education analysts point to sustained efforts in digital learning access, especially in rural districts, as a major factor behind the improved outcomes. The consistent performance also reflects positively on Tamil Nadu’s public education infrastructure and evolving curriculum models.

Subject-Wise Toppers Highlight Shift Toward Technical Mastery

One of the most notable trends in the TN +2 Result 2025 is the surge in students achieving perfect scores in STEM subjects. This year’s data suggests a growing preference for technical fields, especially among Computer Science and Mathematics students.
