Box Office Performance: A Slight Dip on Day 14

Salman Khan’s action-packed film, *Sikandar*, has shown some resilience, even as it faced a minor decline in its box office collections. While it did experience a dip on Day 14, bringing in approximately Rs 21 lakh, the film still managed to cross the impressive Rs 108 crore mark at the Indian box office. This slowdown, about an 8.7% drop from the previous day, could be attributed to the release of *Jaat*, starring Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, which has drawn attention from a similar audience base.

Competition and Limited Audience Reach

The film’s performance might also be influenced by its limited reach. Currently, *Sikandar* is primarily appealing to a Hindi-speaking audience, whereas *Jaat* has a more widespread appeal, catering to a pan-India crowd. Despite these challenges, the film continues to hold its ground in the market.

Impressive Total Collections

Although the earnings slowed down, the movie’s overall performance remains solid. As of Day 13, *Sikandar* had grossed Rs 128.35 crore across India. The film’s worldwide box office earnings also stand at a strong Rs 177.85 crore, with Rs 49.5 crore of that coming from international markets. The drop in collections on April 12 didn’t erase the solid foundation that has been laid in the previous weeks.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, *Sikandar* features a star-studded cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi. The film follows Salman Khan’s character, Sikandar, on a mission to seek justice and protect individuals who received organ donations from his late wife. Despite the minor dip, the action-packed movie’s box office journey remains impressive.
