Kamakhya Express Derails Near Nergundi Station in Odisha

As many as 11 coaches of the Kamakhya Express derailed near Nergundi Station in the Cuttack-Nergundi Railway Section of Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway, Odisha, on Sunday, officials confirmed. The SMVT Bengaluru – Kamakhya AC SF Express (12551) was en route from Bengaluru to Guwahati when the incident occurred at 11:54 AM.

No Casualties Reported

Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities have been reported. A railway team arrived at the scene promptly to assess the situation and initiate necessary actions. In addition, Accident Relief Train and Medical Relief Train were dispatched to assist with recovery efforts.
