CAT 2023 Registration Ends Today: Apply Now for MBA Admissions
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, is wrapping up the registration process for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 today, on September 13th, at 5 PM. Aspiring candidates looking to pursue postgraduate and fellow doctoral programs offered by IIMs and other participating universities should take note of this deadline. The CAT 2023 exam itself is scheduled for November 26th.
For candidates to be eligible to take the CAT 2023 exam, successful registration with all the required documents in the specified format is essential. Additionally, there are a total of 1164 MBA colleges that accept CAT 2023 scores for admission into various management programs. Among these, 138 are public or government colleges, while the remaining 1,026 are private institutions.
Application Fees
General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy) category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2,400 during the online registration process. In contrast, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disabilities categories will pay a reduced fee of Rs 1,200.

CAT 2023: Cut-Offs
Based on previous years’ CAT cut-off patterns, candidates scoring between 95 to 100 are likely to have an advantage in gaining admission to IIMs. The CAT cut-off for 2023 is influenced by factors such as the total number of exam applicants, the difficulty level of the question paper, the ranking of colleges, and past year’s CAT cut-off scores.
