Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli Expecting Their Second Child

Speculations have been swirling for a while that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are on the brink of expanding their family. These rumors gained traction when fans noticed Anushka’s absence from public appearances and her husband Virat’s cricket matches.

Now, recent reports have confirmed that the speculations are indeed true. According to Hindustan Times, Anushka Sharma is currently pregnant with her second child with Virat Kohli and is believed to be in her second trimester.

“Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,”

A source revealed to Hindustan Times.

Explaining Anushka’s recent absence from the public eye, the source added, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.”

While rumors had been circulating for some time, they gained even more momentum after Anushka’s Ganesh Chaturthi post on Instagram.

Another source mentioned in the report claimed that the couple was recently spotted by paparazzi outside a maternity clinic in Mumbai. However, they requested that no photographs be taken of them.

“They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon,”

The source stated.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who got married in an intimate pastel-themed ceremony in Italy in 2017, welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, in January 2021. The couple was quite protective of their child’s privacy and decided not to share her images on social media.

“We have decided to not expose our child to social media before she understands it and makes her own choice,”

Virat Kohli had previously mentioned.

Similarly, the couple has kept their reported second pregnancy under wraps.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in “Chakda’Xpress,” a biographical film based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
