Akshata Murty's Saree Look

The 43-year-old was seen donning a beautiful silk saree from the shelves of the celebrated homegrown brand Raw Mango. Draped in six yards of sheer elegance, Akshata’s choice of outfit seemed like the perfect wear to mark the last day of her visit to India. Her innate grace and charm most definitely were her biggest accessories that took the look a notch higher, making her a true fashion icon as she walked up the steps of the aeroplane to jet off to the UK.

Akshata’s Exquisite Saree

Coming back to her look, the saree she had draped on featured aari embroidery and peacock motifs, both of which were subtle yet extremely striking. The shades of gold and pink looked absolutely heavenly on her as she went on to pair the saree with a matching blouse of the same color.

A Love for Indian Handloom

What has struck fashion lovers across the globe is Akshata’s appreciation and love for Indian handloom and her wise decision to choose a rather sustainable Indian fashion brand. Every bit of the look reflected her humble upbringing and beliefs and showed the world that simplicity is always the key.

Elegant Accessories

Akshata went ahead and chose gold and diamond danglers to pair with the saree and completed the magnificent look with a small bindi. She had her hair tied up in a neat bun, and the choice of going bare face without an iota of makeup on was yet a phenomenal choice, a choice that smelt of sheer confidence and self-love.
