NTA Exam Schedule 2024: JEE Main, NEET, CUET, UGC NET Dates Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination dates for several key entrance tests in 2024. Aspiring candidates can now prepare and plan accordingly for the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) 2024, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 2024, as well as the UGC NET 2024.

The NTA has published this important information on their official website at nta.ac.in. Here is a breakdown of the exam schedule as provided by the NTA:

UGC-NET Session I Between June 10th and June 21st, 2024

It’s important to note that the JEE Main 2024 exam will be conducted in two sessions, one in January and the other in April. NEET UG 2024 will be held in May, while CUET UG and UGC NET will take place in May and June, respectively.

The NTA has assured that the results of JEE Main will be announced within three weeks of conducting the exam. As for NEET, candidates can expect the results to be declared in the second week of June, 2024.

The official notice by the NTA also mentioned, “The Examination Specific details shall be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective examinations, which will be published at the time of launch of Registration Forms of these examinations. The results of all CBT Examinations shall be announced within three weeks of the conclusion of the examination. For NEET (UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by the second week of June, 2024.”

In the previous year, 2023, the NTA conducted the engineering entrance exam in two phases. While the agency has not yet released the registration dates for the upcoming exams, based on past trends, it typically begins around December. Additionally, the NTA is expected to soon open registrations for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2023 session. Candidates interested in appearing for this exam can apply once the registration link becomes active by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
