Kishore Kumar Jena, who overcame visa obstacles to participate, delivered an impressive performance, securing the fifth position with a personal best throw of 84.77 meters. D.P. Manu also showcased his skills, finishing in the sixth position with a throw of 84.14 meters.

Neeraj Chopra expressed his enthusiasm about his victory, stating, “After the Olympic gold, I really wanted to win the world championships. I just wanted to throw further. This is brilliant for the national team, but it was my dream to win gold at the world championships.” He reflected on the challenges he faced, noting, “I wanted to throw more than 90m tonight, but it needs all parts of the puzzle to be there. I couldn’t put it all together this evening. Maybe next time.”
